We offer two installation methods to best suit your property and your needs.

A mortared bluestone patio is installed over a reinforced concrete base with cement joints, creating a solid, permanent surface that minimizes movement and helps prevent water from penetrating between the stones.

A dry-laid bluestone patio or walkway is installed over a professionally prepared and compacted aggregate base without mortar joints. This method allows rainwater to naturally drain through the joints and into the ground, reducing surface water while maintaining a natural appearance. Dry-laid bluestone also offers excellent durability, blends beautifully with the surrounding landscape, and allows individual stones to be adjusted if necessary
